Your New Role:

• Position: Cardiovascular Surgery APP First Assist

• Job Duration: Locums

• Patient Population: Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery patients

• Assignment Dates: Starting August, 6-month duration

• EMR: Meditech

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in assisting in OR and with inpatient rounding

In this Role:

The Cardiovascular Surgery APP First Assist will play a crucial role in the Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery program. Responsibilities include assisting in scheduled OR cases, harvesting veins for surgery, inpatient rounding, and up to 2 weeks per month of CV surgery call coverage. The position offers a supportive environment with full nursing staff and established surgeons, utilizing Meditech EMR.
