Cardiology APP Needed in VA

I have a client in Fredericksburg, Virginia seeking a Cardiology APP for locum coverage starting in July. Please see a few details below:

Start Date: July

Contract Length: 3 months +

Shift Details: 10-15 shifts per month

Schedule: 80% Inpatient, 20% outpatient. 10 hour shifts

Work Details:
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 10-15 shifts per month
· Patients per day: 15-25 dailt Inpt, 5+ daily Outpt
· Department description: ICU/Cardiac step down unit. Rouding during inpatient time, managing post op patients. No surgical assisting required. Must have working knowledge of procedures listed. Manages post op cardiac and thoracic surgery patients and conducts follows up in the clinic.
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required: Must have working knowledge of following: CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, TEVAR, lung wedge/resection/loboctomy/pneumonetomy, hiatel hernia. No surgical assist

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes
· State license required: VA
· DEA:
· Certifications required: AHA BLS and ACLS
· Minimum experience required: 1 year Cardiothoracic Inpt/Outpt experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
