We are hiring for an experienced Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a brand new medical detox facility in the beautiful Northern Georgia, Just north west of Atlanta!
We are seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner with experience in Medical Detox for a full time permanent opportunity with a top rated treatment group in their brand new facility. This is a full time permanent opportunity offering a flexible daytime schedule working only 30 hours a week in office!
The function of the ARNP is to assist the Medical Director to provide substance abuse and mental health services. The Nurse Practitioner's goal is to assist in ensuring all clinical programs are safe and appropriate to the clients’ specific issues, drug of choice, mental health disorders and medical history. The Nurse Practitioner will direct and coordinate medical services and care in coordination with the Medical Director with other areas of the organization while making reasonable accommodations to ensure clients are safe and comfortable as possible during their stay. This provider must have strong experience working in a rehab/detox setting. This rehab facility creates individualized rehabilitation for men and women which are sustainable for long term recovery and sobriety for each client! We provide interactive groups on building and developing life skills to increase responsibility and productivity in occupations, relationships, and careers.
This is a Leadership role working directly with the medical director and supervising MHT and LPNs. This provider would do initial evaluations and follow ups. We do offer the ability to do telehealth visits for an initial intake if the NP is not in the office during the time of admission. They will be responsible for the staff over sight of 6 BHTs and 6 LPNs and ensure and manage the daily operations of the new detox facility.
