Job Description

Job Overview – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Take on a meaningful role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our client in White Plains, NY, where you will deliver exceptional patient care to individuals ranging from newborns to adolescents. This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide top-notch healthcare services.

Compensation: $40/hour
Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Weekend Rotation)


Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

  • Patient Care: Escort patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, and document medical history.
  • Diagnostic Support: Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen preparation for processing.
  • Immunizations and Medications: Administer vaccines, injections, and prescribed medications while monitoring responses.
  • Physician Assistance: Support physicians during procedures and ensure exam rooms are sanitized and prepared.
  • Record Management: Update and maintain electronic medical records (eCW) in compliance with standards.
  • Patient Interaction: Provide emotional support and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Education: Completed a state-approved LPN education program.
  • Licensure: Active and current LPN license to practice in New York.
  • Certification: Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience: Prior clinical experience, including phlebotomy, administering injections, and working with pediatric patients.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems (eCW experience is highly preferred).
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Other Requirements: Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, with proof required upon employment.
