Job Overview – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Join our client’s dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York! In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, support physicians with routine office procedures, and ensure the well-being of patients from newborns through adolescents.
Compensation: $35/hour
Location: Westchester County, NY
Schedule: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Weekend Rotations)
Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse:

Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Patient Escort & Vitals: Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, height/weight).
- EKGs & Phlebotomy: Perform routine EKGs and provide phlebotomy services for all age groups.
- Specimen Preparation: Label and prepare specimens for processing.
- Injections/Immunizations: Administer injections and immunizations per physician orders and document all vaccines and lab results.
- Exam Room Preparation: Clean and prepare exam rooms for each patient.
- Patient History: Collect and maintain patient history, recording new data.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications, monitor doses, and observe patient responses.
- Education & Licensing: State-approved LPN education program and current LPN license.
- Certifications: Valid CPR certification.
- Experience: Clinical or healthcare experience required (pediatrics experience preferred).
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite, data entry, and EMR systems (eCW preferred).
- Personal Attributes: Patient, empathetic, compassionate, with excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
