Job Overview – Licensed Practical Nurse (Neurology):
Join our client as a Licensed Practical Nurse (Neurology) in White Plains, NY. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with care teams, and actively engaging patients in their treatment plans. You will assist physicians with clinical procedures and provide patient education, ensuring seamless and effective care delivery.
Compensation: $31/hour
Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse (Neurology):
- Patient Care: Provide nursing care to patients and their families through direct interaction and telephone contact, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with care team members to ensure cohesive and effective patient care delivery.
- Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians and providers with clinical procedures and support care delivery tasks.
- Patient Education: Participate in patient teaching, ensuring patients understand their care plans and treatment options.
- Standards Compliance: Maintain compliance with established protocols to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Licensure: Active New York State (NYS) LPN license with current registration, in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Licensed Practical Nurse, or 2 years as a Medical Assistant in a relevant practice area.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-focused, with a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
