Director of Infection Prevention – Austin, TX

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Infection Prevention to lead our infection prevention and control program in Austin, TX. This leadership position will oversee the development, implementation, and management of infection prevention protocols and ensure the safety and health of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the infection prevention and control program for the facility.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report infection trends, outbreaks, and compliance with infection control practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve infection prevention strategies and patient care outcomes.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention practices.
• Conduct audits and investigations related to infection control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required.
• Previous experience in infection prevention and control, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
